Hosted by vintage seller and purveyor of pretties, Charlotte of Penryn Vintage fame, you’ll first get the opportunity to pick from her incredible selection of vintage silk shirts. Charlotte will help you choose one whose colour sings to you and that fits just right for the project.
Charlotte will then walk you through the process of cutting, cropping and hemming your shirt to the perfect flattering crop to go with your favourite jeans. Using the offcuts, she’ll then show you how to make a matching scrunchie. Silk shirts are perfect for this, not because of how the fabric drapes perfectly for a silk shirt, but also because silk is one of the most delicate fabrics to use in your hair to prevent damage.
