An exhibition of Porthleven-inspired watercolours by artist Sophie Penstone.
Sophie’s watercolour paintings are inspired by wild hedgerows, weather, the light and the changing seasons. There is a peaceful sense of calm or the striking beauty of the wild, whether she is painting reflections, crashing waves, harbours or woodlands.
Sophie’s work is becoming easily recognisable within Cornwall; she has sold her work worldwide and represented England in The International Watercolour Exhibition in Fabriano, Italy.
