Sadly Trudi is ill and so her shop is closed this week.
Trudi is a Cornish Painter with a love of sea -swimming, books, gardening and family life. She gained her degree in Illustration at Plymouth University and started her professional artist’s career.
She now runs her own art gallery in Porthleven, Launch Art, where she create and sell my paintings, collages and fine art Giclee prints, as well as other local artist’s work including ceramics and jewellery.
Trudi’s art is all inspired by storytelling, Cornish life and living, including its landscapes, people and heritage. She creates observational, expressionistic, paintings full of colour and bold mark making, often using bird feathers to draw as she adoresthe loose playful lines they create.
