Melanie is an illustrator and designer based in West Cornwall and with a strong connection to Porthleven harbour. She has created logos, illustrations for children’s books, and maps for Festivals and businesses far and wide.

Melanie will be joining Suzie Inman in the Clocktower Studio on Wednesday September 28th and as well as meeting her, you can also try out her 45 minute taster sketchbooks workshops at 10am and 4:15pm for just £10.
What can you sketch in 45 minutes? Quite a bit you’ll be surprised to hear.
You’ll meet outside the Bickford Smith Institute (the landmark building that has a clocktower near the pier) and then sketch around the harbour using watercolours, brush pens and fine liners. You’ll be supplied with a short handmade sketchbook zine, and fill it with a range of buildings and boats found around the harbour using a few different techniques and exercises.
