Maxine Greer lives and works in Porthleven, Cornwall. She creates sculptures and drawings inspired by the natural world. She is currently Artist In Residence at Kota Restaurant, Porthleven working with Chef Jude Kereama exploring and recording what’s in season through painting and drawing.
She has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in the UK and internationally and was awarded the People’s Choice Award at Peterborough Museum for her ‘Flock’, an installation of over 200 paper sparrows, in 2012.
Her work has featured in publications including: Elle Decoration, Selvedge and Ghost of Gone Birds.
Maxine will bring her flock of paper sparrows to the Clocktower on the first weekend of the Festival and afterwards open her home studio on Tor Close.
